TAE resources
Chemène has written and published TAE materials since 2010 – their consistent quality has established Chemène as a longstanding industry leader in training and assessment and a renowned author of accredited training materials and assessment tools.
Chemène published the materials under her original business name, Blackwater Projects.
More than 150 registered training organisations (RTOS) – including TAFEs, universities, community colleges, private and enterprise RTOs – have used Blackwater Projects’ TAE materials written since their first introduction. These RTOs enjoy the peace of mind that comes from knowing that:
- they are using quality resources that include everything needed to deliver this important qualification
- the resources have been validated by a validation consultant who previously worked ASQA performance assessor for TAE qualifications
- they benefit from ongoing implementation support from Chemène.
For the latest TAE40122 qualification, Chemène has partnered with Pop Education – digital learning designers who specialise in nationally-recognised programs – to offer your RTO a choice of digital or traditional training and assessment materials. To find out more:

LLN and VET Meeting Place
LLN and VET Meeting Place is an online hub of information and resources that vocational practitioners can access and use to help them help their adult learners build the core foundation skills they need to thrive in work and life situations.
Chemène advocates quality education and training for all. In 2010, this passion fuelled her desire to learn more about the core foundation skills that people need to succeed in modern education and work contexts. In 2015, Chemène partnered with literacy expert Ann Leske to form LLN and VET Meeting Place.
Chemène continues to administer LLN and VET Meeting Place voluntarily. Visit the LLN and VET Meeting Place website for:
- news and information about LLN and VET
- access to research, resources, and practical ‘how to’ tips to help vocational trainers build their learners’ foundation skills.
